I think the video came out great. The setting up the format of the video matched the speed and vibe with the music. The little introductory of each person and the celebrity they were as was a great touch up to the video. Everyone did so great!!!

I chose Selena Quintanilla because she’s a very icon figure for our Hispanic heritage people, she’s very open about her music and plays an important role in identifying with the women around the world not only Hispanic women. She try’s to bring a message across through her music.

I really enjoyed seeing all the creativity put into looking like the celebirty icons that each person chose. This assignment was the perfect opportunity for everyone to showcase creativity and it was accomplished. I can tell that everyone put effort in depicting a celebrity or character. It is especially important to recognize the influence of all these powerful women and characters. The concept was carried out amazingly. I'm so sorry the class of 2020 couldn't receive their well-deserved traditional prom and graduation, I couldn't imagine what that would feel like, but all of them are so talented and seem like people who are full of life and I can see that they will be successful in whatever events come their way.

Seniors I am so proud of you guys!!!!! You all nailed the looks of the celebrities you chose down to the bone. With wearing the same colors, prints, makeup, hairstyles etc. that the celebrities had, really added a great effect and aesthetic. The quotes chosen were so inspirational that I had to write them down. Once again I am so proud of you all and hope that life takes you to unimaginable places. I chose Zendaya because her personality and style screams unique and individuality. Technically growing up with Zendaya through Disney, I was able to see her various change of style and talent. I love how she was always 100% herself and her outfits basically gave us some insight on who she was. That particular picture that I chose to recreate stood out to me because for me it was something more than a picture. It was bold, exciting, different, and something more than a girl that everyone else sees her and I as. We are more than what the world sees. ~
