I really loved this video.
Rihanna came in the video she talks about fashion make up and sexuality and how it really all makes up a person. After that she would show people a different sexuality the people of different body types and people with different races. She also explain what facia meant to her and how she likes to Bring it to her every day life. She also did this with make up. Rihanna inspires me to become a better fashion designer.

Literally got goosebumps from the whole fashion show. I’m literally in love with every concept involved in this show from the settings to Rihanna expressing her emotions about her work and how the important was for everything to be equal. Literally the best fashion show I ever seen virtually. Everything about it its beautiful and it has such a strong message for everyone out there. Rihanna can literally do anything and still leave a big statement out there.

I really enjoyed watching this video because Rihanna enjoys making sexy lingerie for these beautiful girls and it doesn’t matter if your chubby or skinny , she made you feel free about wearing her clothes, especially the part when these girls were dancing they didn’t care about what people would might have said about their body type , they went on and danced and showed the world that they are beautiful in their own ways . I loved how she also put famous people to sing in her fashion show video she had Rosalia , Roddy rich , Ella Mai , Mustard etc and that made the video also fun as well .she likes to travel the world , whenever she sees a fabric that she’ll know she will like she would go crazy , RiRi the creator is a fashion designer where she wants fabrics that are comfortable and cute to wear for her people to wear, probably from today she’s probably out of stock because everyone that watches her fashion show is immediately going to buy everything from her, however Rihanna has inspired me that in the future I will become a great fashion designer just like her, I just got to believe in myself like she did.

Aiamdra Estrella.

I like these videos because it shows how people from different sexuality can do what is their preference. Without people attaching them as a weir creature or inappropriate, in other words having freedom to express their feeling. The different types of body size that I saw in these videos was impressive, especially for me because today's in society people worry and care to be pretty or skinny. And I use to feel ugly because I didn't like my body type, until now that I realize it does not matter, what matters is how you feel about your body.

I wanted to comment about Ysabel Johnson opinion.

I agree with you, their were many different ideas reflected in these videos, but I felt so move because of how they dance without worrying that people will discriminate them or say nasty things about their body type

I was in constant awe during the entire episode because of how amazing the design and choreography is. I had actually seen trailers and ads for this before it came out and didn't really think it'd be much but I was happily proved wrong. The confidence that oozed out of everyone throughout the video was so powerful you could you could feel it run through you. And the way she described fashion and how it changes throughout your mood was so spot on I felt she took the words out my mouth. Honestly this entire video just inspired me to become a fashion designer on her level.

I wanted to comment on Aiamdra Estrella view of fashion

I completely agree with you on the way she handle different sexualities. There wasn't a ridiculous amount of attention put in some who were different than others, they just were what they were and respect her for that. Also the way effortlessly brought attention to people of all body types and didn't make it seem weird or obnoxious really made me feel confident in my own self.

I just wanted to comment on what Aiamdra Estrella said.

I love the way u worded your comment, it kinda goes back to what I said about body shape representation for men and women, even children.seeing someone who looks and is built like you doing such an amazing project with an amazing artist and designer empowers people it makes them feel like they’re being seen and that they aren’t ugly for the way they were born.
What I enjoyed mostly about this collection, in addition to the diversity was the narration that Rihanna lead. The conversation topics included community, mood, sexuality, influence and inspiration. All of these topics were strong talking points which influences how we feel, treat each other and ultimately how we present ourselves in the world through fashion.
Kris Garcia said…
Kris Garcia= I really enjoyed watching the video because of the diversity, the topics she spoke about, and also the many celebrities that were featured in the video. The celebrities i recognized were= Willow smith, Lizzo, The hadid sisters, Rosalia, Travis Scott, etc., etc. One of my favorite scenes were in the green factory looking set. It showed many of Rihanna pieces and the choreography was very cool.
I really enjoyed how Rihanna lead the show with so much scenery changes and light and music it went really good with everything. I also loved how her lingerie brand is for anyone, it didn’t matter the race, body type or sexuality, Gigi hadid, ,Miguel, bad bunny, lizzo, Rico nasty. And so many more artist. I also like how she would narrate and tell her perception of her brand with her many of her fellow colleagues.

I truly adored this video, the appearances of so many influential people such as willow smith, Paris Hilton, uglyworldwide. All of these people are large influencer for different reasons. I also loved the diversity in the video with different body types along with every skin tone and even people of different background all being able to explore feeling and emotion through clothing. Rihanna Is know as a fashion icon, well known for switching her style and having it work with her so well, describing the different styles as different personas, as she explains clothes give a difference confidence to a person when putting it on. Working so well with being a lingerie line it exposes the confidence of clothing making a person feel sexy.
Anonymous said…
@ kris Garcia , YES the diversity in video is gorgeous while being accentuated by clothing and scenery, Rihanna made a gorgeous display of showing off what her clothing line means to her.
Sahara Belgrave said…
I enjoyed the aesthetic of the video solely due to the diversity. There were several connections with the icons in the documentary such as musicians, models, actresses, body positive influencers, and etc. Rihanna's main goal was to show diversity in all artistic communities based on makeup, music, sexuality, body types, ethnicities, fashionistas, and self expression. Everything about this film corresponds to each other like how Rihanna makes music and she included fellow musicians ie; Rico Nasty, Roddy Ricch, Rosalia, Ella Mai, Mustard, Bad Bunny, Lizzo, etc. The biggest factor that was put into play was the choreography (not just dance) because the uniqueness was so ethereal. The display towards different genders and sexualities create and shape who you are as a person and how the world perceives it which is why it's so important to know your self worth.
Leandra morales said…
I truly loved the video the diversity and the different body types showing their confidence the love they have for their body. They all had a part in the show as models ,dancers ,singers. Rihanna wanted to show everyone that you can be comfortable in your own skin love your self in every way possible if it’s big, small, fat, skinny, tall, short, black, brown, yellow, white, boy, girl, trans. I like how everyone can show off there sexuality and be them self. Also how she can include her fellow singers and rappers to be apart of her show to sing, rap or model her line. Especially the asthmatic setting and how it changed scenes from the color hall to the blue room and the flower forests to the sweat shop. The choreography was so impowering just everyone moving so according to each other. My favorite part was when Rihanna came out at that flower scene.

I enjoyed the representation of diversity. Rihanna included people of all body images, which helps promote body positivity. She had people from multiple art industry make up, music, fashion, etc... She showed movement not just in dance, but also in the way they walked. You were able to see culture in the smallest things. Rihanna inspire people to look at the detail and feel it so that you can become a better designer.

The diversity was great Rihanna really wanted everyone to receive a nice message no matter your body type or sexuality you are who you are and that makes you unique she had many people from different industries and seeing them come together was great and good to watch this video helps others know that being you is amazing and helps them know their self worth and is really inspiring to a lot of people.

I really liked the video especially the the intro how everyone is showing the power with music, and walking with confidence. And the show has a type of body type which is showing no matter what shape you are you look amazing.Everything is unique and the art, dances, music especially Rosalía. When it was her time when people wear the mask so fashionable with their outfits. Rihanna had inspiration with the texture, culture, color scheme, and saying of the fabric if it will feel right, will it feels good on the body. I loved everything.

I really liked it I think it is a perfect way to to do a fashion show without being boring. It was also really diverse and inclusive which a lot of designers don’t Pat mind to that when choosing models for their show. I also like how women empowering it was. My favorite parts were Bella hadids and Paris Hilton’s.

I enjoyed this collection and show greatly. Rihanna never fails to include every body type, race, sexuality, and gender. She truly demonstrates the importance of diversity and inclusivity in fashion. It is crucial to understand that these are needed to make sure everyone is represented, so you can open to a wider audience and market. Nevertheless, the line was gorgeous. You can see clearly how every little detail was paid attention to. The show itself was intriguing, it wasn't something you have seen before which I believe keeps the audience looking forward to new shows and releases. Rihanna truly seeks for comfortability and confidence for her models, dancers, and market.

@Michelle Oliveira - I completely agree. Rihanna does show how inclusivity is extremely important to represent the unrepresented which can definitely influence other designers in doing the same thing.

I really enjoyed watching this fashion show. Seeing a black women from the islands accomplish something this big makes me feel empowered. Rihanna not only has a flourishing music career, but she also manages to have a successful lingerie line, clothing line, skincare brand, and a makeup brand. Savage X Fenty is one of the few brands I know that are made for everyone. It caters to people of all sizes and shapes. I was also amazed at how much diversity was in the show I saw people of many different backgrounds and ethnicities rocking items on this line. Rihanna thinks about every type of person when designing these pieces and that’s why she’s gotten so far with this line today. Because of her big influence, I feel she has the power to encourage other clothing and lingerie lines to do the same instead of only making things to fit small and petite women. The lingerie was made to make women feel sexy, unique and confident and that what has been achieved. Every time I scroll through Instagram I see models, influencers, and regular people showing off their Savage X Fenty as well. The music and choreography throughout the show added to the excitement along with the vibrant colors and prints of the lingerie sets.

This fashion show was so BOMB!! I really loved how I just saw how important and successful this Savage X Fenty line is for Rihanna. I've seen influencers promote and post all over social media about how much they love and want you to support it. I know me and everyone else that watched this were very happy and delighted to see that she Incorporated every shape, size, and every shade and tone of color in her line as well. I loved each and every one of the models and singers and everybody that were included in this show. I LOVED hearing about how she choose the pieces of fabric she had in her line and that she made sure that she knew that it would be comfortable for us to wear and feel good, not just having the people purchasing and wearing these items looking nice and sexy but she also made sure they feel nice and sexy wearing something that should be comfortable. I really enjoyed watching the artists and interviews that had been contributed, And I've really admired how she incorporated the different types of styles of dancing and music and I found that really great! I loved all the diversity and positivity I saw. I have never seen anything like that before in a fashion show and that was amazing. This fashion show is probably the best I've seen because I've never actually seen anything like it before. It was great and made me so happy and proud of her.

I really loved this fashion show! The way Rihanna explained everything about how she feels about fashion, community, makeup, sexuality, and everything else was perfect and amazing. The fashion showed how beautiful diversity is. In this fashion show I felt extremely happy that she is showing the fashion world that everyone is beautiful not matter their body shape, skin color, sexuality, etc. When she spoke about the mood behind fashion I related a lot because I know sometimes I just don’t want to dress nice like she mentioned wanted to wear the biggest sweater with the biggest pants is a mood. Fashion is a form of expression. The dancers and models were looked awesome in the clothes and the choreography for every song was super cool, I enjoyed everything. The fashion show really moved me I felt like I can and should appreciate myself more because I know society and their “standards of beauty” hits me very hard mentally and physically so after seeing this I want to love me for me and not to please anyone. -Melanie Rivera

I absolutely loved the show and how diverse it was. Not only with skin tone but with body shapes too. I've always believed that anyone could pull off being a model as long as they were confident in their own skin, and this video was the exact example of that. Rihanna was able to make this show with everyone's true self, none of that fake beauty standard was shown in this video which is a really nice example for people who are insecure or not confident in themselves. Overall I think this video was very heartfelt and beautiful.

I totally agree people should be able to be themselves and express themselves freely without worrying about the judgment from others. The more we show that the ideal beauty standard is false and everyone is beautiful, the more people will be able to be confident in their own skin. It was amazing how many different body shapes were in the show and it was truly beautiful.

I really enjoyed this fashion show. The music and choreography made the fashion show so much more fascinating and enjoyable. I love how it had a variety of different body shapes, colors, fabrics, etc. Not many lingerie and undergarments places represent people of different sizes and different colors. I just feel as if this was a way to show how the world should be developing as of being open minded when it comes to bodies and more. Along with that, I as well really liked how it was explained how Rihanna has an eye for things, how she can see any fabric and know what it is she would want or how it will go together. Overall, I just found this show beautiful and different from anything I have seen.

Just like her last show, this show was absolutely amazing. Rihanna showcases her fashion in a unique way that hasn't been seen before. She incorporates dance, music, and cultures of many kinds that carry a message beyond her fashion line. One thing I've noticed in both of her shows is that she starts to re-define what is beautiful or society's definition of beauty. She cast models of different shapes, sizes, races, religions, ages, genders, sexualities, etc. I personally admire how anyone could watch the show and see someone who looks like them or someone they could relate to. This type of representation is important for society because it supports dreams and aspirations instead of diminishing them with narrow-minded ideas. The Savage X Fenty performance proves that you don't have to be a size 0, white girl with blue eyes to be beautiful. It inspires boys and girls all over the world that they can be whatever they want to be regardless of society's opinion on it.

I would like to add to Natalia's comment: The choreography definitely made the show more enjoyable to watch but I think its purpose is to also make a statement through movement. Notice how she incorporated contrasting styles of choreography like hip-hop and modern. I think Rihanna made that style choice to restate the message of what is sexy and what is beautiful.

This video just SCREAMS confidence. They showed women of all body types, races, and literally gave me chills while watching it. In this video it also showed what her thought process was creating this fashion line. Everything was thought out from the: color, the shape, the pattern, and the way its shaped. She describes her collection as if its a piece of art and because of all her experience she has with all the high fashion brands Rihanna can tell how its going to feel and look on someone's body. She talks about how colors can change someone's mood and demeaner. She compared it to how drag queens get a different persona, and confidence when they put on a full face. She also goes on to talk about how sexuality is each of our own. and our own divine inner power. this fashion line was created it by thinking about how everyone's going to look in it. Throughout this there is a lot of emotional dance where there dance moves all had a deeper meaning. I think this shows this is a much deeper to meaning to lingerie other that looking good for someone else which is how it is usually portrayed in the movies and in advertisement. in this Rihanna shows how lingerie isn't just for someone else to enjoy but also for yourself, and give you a different type of confidence.

I enjoyed the fashion show, I've been very inspired to follow Rihanna's footsteps. Everything about this just screamed "FEELINGS" to me. How? Because what Rihanna said in an interview(from what I'm assuming) is that what she wears is based off of her feeling(s). When she is making clothes for other people, she knows exactly where things need to go, and the outfits she makes is for everyone.

I enjoyed the fashion show because it showed how talented Rihanna is. Not only is she an amazing producer, singer, song writer, and dancer, she truly shines in fashion design. She also makes things for plus size woman for affordable prices (bras, underwear etc) and as a big girl I truly appreciate that. It was nice to see people with different body types and backgrounds. She adds a sense of uniqueness to her fashion that captures everyone’s eye. Her fashion screams “dress like it’s your last day on earth and you’ll be wearing this for eternity. Personally I wouldn’t mind wearing her fashion for eternity.

I enjoyed this fashion show because it showcased Rihanna’s vision and talent. The show was very diverse and included all different types of races, colors, bodies, and etc. It was an all in one show that was meant to make people feel empowered and comfortable in their own body. From the artists, to the choreography, the cinematic atmosphere, and the clothing, everything was done very well.
